What type of lumber is recommended?
There is a wide choice for both sub frame and decking: from Douglas fir, green and brown treated, to cedar. Check with your local lumberyard for further information.

What are the shipping costs?
These will vary with weight and distance. We can quickly provide you with an estimate at your request.

How soon can I get my kit?
Most items can be shipped in 2 to 3 days: larger items, 7 to 10 days.

What are the floats made of?
Seaco Floats are roto molded using long lasting, rugged polyethylene. Once molded the floats are foam filled. These floats will not deteriorate in salt water and are resistant to gas and oil. UV inhibitors are added to protect against gas and oil.

The Enviro Floats are foam free, roto molded in Canada from rough recycled polyethylene and completely recyclable. Enviro Floats include an independent secondary floatation system consisting of 80 pressure tested and sealed two litre soft drink bottles.

What is the load capacity of the floats?
The load capacity ranges from 450 to 600 lb per float.

Can I leave the floats in over winter?
If there is no ice movement and the docks are free floating (loosely secured) the floats should survive intact.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, or cheque.
